Understanding Slippage
Slippage is the difference between expected and actual price.
Why Slippage Happens
- Price changes between clicking "Buy" and transaction confirming
- Other trades execute before yours
- High volatility tokens
Slippage Settings
- Low (0.1-1%) - Use for stable, liquid tokens
- Medium (1-3%) - Most tokens, normal conditions
- High (3-5%) - Volatile tokens, fast markets
WARNING
Higher slippage = higher chance of execution, but worse price. Don't set higher than needed!
Bonding Curve Trading (Edging Phase)
Price Mechanics
During Edging phase (0-85 SOL), price follows bonding curve:
Buying:
- Each purchase increases price
- Larger buys = bigger price impact
- Early buyers get better prices
Selling:
- Each sale decreases price
- Price returns to curve after trade
- Can't sell below curve
Trading Strategies
Strategy 1: Early Entry
- Buy immediately after launch
- Lowest price on curve
- Risk: Token might not take off
- Reward: Highest upside if it does
Strategy 2: Wait for Momentum
- Watch for volume increase
- Buy when trend confirmed
- Risk: Higher entry price
- Reward: Lower chance of dead token
Strategy 3: Swing Trading
- Buy dips, sell rallies
- Take advantage of curve volatility
- Risk: Timing the market
- Reward: Accumulate without holding through drawdowns
Strategy 4: Hold to Graduation
- Buy and hold until 85 SOL
- Believe in long-term potential
- Risk: Token might not graduate
- Reward: Ride full wave to Raydium
Graduated Token Trading (Nutted Phase)
After graduation, tokens trade on Raydium AMM.

Market Cap
Market Cap = Token Price × Circulating Supply- Shows total token value

- Don't hold 100% to top
- Secure initial investment
Risk Management
Position Sizing
Never invest more than you can afford to lose:
- Conservative: 1-5% of portfolio per token
- Moderate: 5-10% per token
- Aggressive: 10-20% per token
- Degen: 20%+ (not recommended)
Stop Losses
Mental stop losses for meme tokens:
- Exit if down 50%
- Exit if creator rugs
- Exit if no volume for 24h
Diversification
- Don't put all SOL in one token
- Spread across multiple launches
- Keep some SOL for opportunities
